Week 10: Game To Watch

This week's Game To Watch is a matchup between the Steel Curtain (5-4) and Team Dynasty (4-5). These two teams match up pretty well, and each team is hoping to come out with a victory to help secure their playoff position. Out of these two teams, Team Dynasty is in the most need for a victory this weekend. Sitting at 4-5, Team Dynasty risks the possibility of losing their grasp on the final playoff position. With a loss this week, and a LickDaTaint victory, Team Dynasty could find themselves in a struggle to the end. The difference makers in this game will likely be QB Ben Roethlisberger, who is coming off of a 5 TD performance against Baltimore, and RB Brian Westbrook, who is coming off of a solid performance against the Dallas Cowboys. ESPN currently gives the edge to Team Dynasty in this matchup, but there is a reason why we play the games. This week could be pivotal to the playoff picture for many teams, including these 2.

Playoff Teams Pulling Ahead Of The Pack

It seems as if the lower tier teams in HFfantasy may be out of luck. As of right now, the playoff picture looks to be pretty solid, with only one spot remaining within reach for the bottom 4 contenders. Team dynasty (4-5) currently holds the final playoff spot with 4 games remaining. In order for the teams on the outside looking in to reach the playoffs, they will need to string together some wins and get some help if they expect to move up in the standings. Two teams have outright clinched playoff births. Those teams are The Team To Beat and Throw Me The Damn Ball. We'll see in the weeks to come out things shape up.

Week 9 Top Performers

Peterson Leads The Way In Week 9's Top Performances

Rookie RB Adrian Peterson was HFfantasy's top performer in week 9, as he set an NFL rushing record for the most rushing yards in a single game against the San Diego Chargers. Peterson finished the day with 296 yards on 30 carries, and reached the endzone 3 times in the Vikings victory over the Chargers. This performance earned Peterson 235 points in week 9. Peterson was joined by Drew Brees and Joseph Addai in week 9's top performers. Brees had a huge day against the Jacksonville Jaguars, finishing with 445 yards on 35 completions and 3 TDs. Brees earned 230 points for Team Conquest, giving the team it's 5th straight victory. Team Conquest with the win continues to hold onto first place in Division 2 with a 6-3 record. Joseph Addai put up 193 points in a 24-20 loss against the Patriots. Addai finished the day with 100 yard games in both rushing and receiving. Addai only reached the endzone once on Sunday, but finished with 112 yards rushing and 114 yards receiving. Addai's performance helped Empire Maker defeat YouLikeTo LickDaTaint to remain 1 game back of first place in Division 2.
